• Outside and mount it high as possible. As for reliable during the weather storms... I still had TV when my neighbors TV service chipped in and out. But, any weather conditions can have an effect on the over the air signal.

• Definitely drop direct tv / cable! This comes in no matter what weather we have ours is out side

• Outdoor reception is ALWAYS going to give you the best reception because the line-of-sight to the towers is unobstructed. Plus, you will receive more channels.
