Probably, best if you could to mount on soffit at highest point possible
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely needs to be ON the roof. Install kit comes with seals for the mounting bolts. Our roof is metal also. That is where our problems have been all along. The antenna has to be free and clear of that interference of the metal roof; inside the attic won't do that for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i first install in my attic with radiant barrier and that is just foil and yes it would not pick as many channels as when i moved it outside. huge difference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have a metal roof also. The previous antennas we had were inside and we only had trouble. This one is mounted on top of the metal roof, not recommended for the attic. We've had great success following those suggestions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 6k ft house with all metal roofing and see no effect
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, out it outside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will definitely impact the signal that you pick up you should really opt for mounting it under a soffit, if not a higher location. The higher the better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By locating any antenna in an attic you will not receive as strong of a signal. If possible locate the antenna outside for optimal reception.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure, I don't think I'd put it there, as the heat might melt it and/or cause a fire.
