The Clearstream 2-V is used often and very successfully as an indoor antenna. It will stand freely on a flat surface without it's mount. Thanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this in my attic and it works fine. I've also seen pictures of people mounting it on a wall or standing it up on a table. But of course, the higher you can mount it and the less obstructions you have, the better the reception.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it indoors. I have it in the bonus room on the second level of my house. I have it sitting on the top of the bonus room TV stand. I found that the higher the antenna the better the signal received. Works great even going through a wall.
