This antenna cannot be used to stream anything. Streaming is done over the internet. It can't be used to receive satellite signals. This antenna is just a plain old antenna that receives over the air (OTA) transmissions. I don't know how old you are, but there was a time when there was no cable, no satellite TV, no internet, no nothing. The only way to watch TV was with an antenna either on your roof, in your attic, or in your home. That's what this antenna is. It's optimized for receiving today's HDTV digital signals, but other than that it's just like it was back in the 60's. Using this antenna you can receive CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, PBS, and other OTA signals. You cannot receive CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, HGTV, Discovery, Food Network, History Channel, HBO, etc. Those all belong to the domain of cable and satellite TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can get any channels that broadcast over the air, your local CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, and any independent local stations using this antenna. You cannot get channels that are considered cable channels, CNN, TBS, TNT, USA, etc. However, I have looked into using HULU as an alternative to DirecTV, and found that for my viewing habits I can use HULU (streaming, you must have a good internet connection) with the antenna. The cost difference for me is over $120 per month.
