Hi Ruby! You should have no issues using this antenna while camping. Keep in mind there are many factors to consider when using an antenna in multiple areas. All locations and terrains are different, and signal reception varies in each location, depending on where the towers are located and obstructions between the antenna and the available towers. We have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you arrive at your destination, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Also, make sure the antenna is as high up as possible and that you re-scan for channels at each location or every time it is moved. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work OK - given the usual considerations of distance, terrain & trees. The small amplifier that comes with the antenna is powered by a USB-A adapter, so you should be able to find some type of portable battery to plug it's USB cable into.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You’ll need to know where the tv towers are so you can aim it. Also trees and mountains will block the signal. Plus you need power for the booster.
