“Will it work in our attic? We have a tin roof. It is not feasible for us to put it outdoors. Our old antenna works in the attic, but it is 40 years old. We were hoping a new antenna might be better/stronger.”

You can install this antenna anywhere. I have mine sitting in a nook near the ceiling in my living room and it works very well. If you already have a setup in your attic, simply swap antennas.
