The ClearStream 4MAX has a short coaxial cable pigtail, which is what I believe you are referring too. When installing the antenna outdoors, you will need to purchase longer coaxial cable that connects to the pigtail connector on the antenna. If your downlead coaxial cable from the antenna to the TV is longer than 100 ft., you may need additional equipment for long cable runs. You will either need to run another coax or find if that coax goes up into he attic or some where theat you can reroute or connect to the new antenna. I bought this one last year and love it, great reception. I also downloaded the app to point in the best direction.
