You can connect your xbox right to it.

But I have yet to get the speakers to work. Nor is there inside the menu and area for volume up or volume down controls. Also there is no 3.5 mm Jack out so I'm thinking that there is no speakers and that you can't connect speakers to this monitor so if you are looking to connect an Xbox look for external speakers
