Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also tried to use a VGA and it did not work . It turned out to be a bad cable. HDMI works great on mine.Maybe your cables are bad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you must go to your advanced display options, right now your PC does not know that there is a 2nd monitor hooked up. Right click anywhere on your desktop, go to display options, advanced display options, discover additional monitors, extend or duplicate display Or right click from desktop and go to your video card and do it through the easy setup on the Eyefinity option on an AMD, not totally familiar on how to do this with a Nvidia card
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To rule out the monitor as the problem Jaden. You may want to try to connect a different known working good monitor such as a flat screen from your computer to your HDTV and see if you can get a display. Also note that this monitor does have drivers so you may want to go to the AOC support page and download the latest drivers firmware and software. Also you if you have a graphics card installed on your computer you may want to plug this directly into your graphics card as that may be taking president over your onboard Graphics. If you have a graphics card and onboard Graphics you may not be able to see anything on this screen because it's not sure where you want your output devices to go to. So in more or less words if you have a discrete graphics card built-in you need to be using that discrete graphics card if that's what's powering your other monitors. If you are using the onboard graphics then you need to make sure that you are plugged in either VGA or HDMI. Also rule out any adapters or converter cables try to get straight cables so VGA to VGA into your AOC monitor. Or hdmi to hdmi directly into your into your monitor and into your computer try getting rid of all converter or conversion cables. Also there is an input select that you will need to select what output you're going for inside the menu on the monitor. And you may want to check your motherboard or a computer's bios to make sure that it can see a second monitor or additional display.
