There are 10 outlets. Of these, 6 are battery backup, and surge protected, 4 are surge only.

I am not sure what screen you were looking at but the description says 10 outlets and it has a rear photo unless that was added after the last comment.

Someone needs to clear this up, since there IS a photo of the rear (contrary to the question) and it displays 5 SURGE and 5 battery BACKUP outlets, contrary to the answers that both APCProductSupport and OneCoolDude provide.
