“I have seen charging pads where you can just lay your device down on it and it charges. Will this one work with this device”

I asked my salesman this very question. This 10.2" iPad is not able to be charged with a wireless type charging pad. Note that it comes with a 12 amp wall charger and it is best to use the supplied charger. Tried to charge with a phone sized wall charger and it took forever!
