• The pencil will work with the screen protector. I got the Zagg products and they are superb, a little more in cost but worth it. I had a problem with a bubble, and got excellent service from the company. Just paid the freight and got a replacement right away. Excellent product, excellent company. Pencil works smooth as glass.

• I bought a tempered glass screen protector from Amazon and my Apple pencil works perfectly. Do note that I specifically chose a screen protector that claims it does not interfere with the function of the Apple pencil.
