QuestionWhat is the difference IPad Pro 10.5 Model # MPFO2LL/A to MPDY2LL/A?

- Answer Both of these models are the 'older' versions (meaning they came out in 2017) and both have the A10X processor. The only difference is the MPF02LL/A model uses a WI-FI connection to access online apps, updates, the Apple website, etc while the MPDY2LL/A uses a mobile carrier (AT&T, Sprint, etc). If you do not need constant access to the internet then the WI-Fi version is the best for you since the mobile carriers do charge you a monthly fee.

- Answer I don’t know what you mean exactly by software but the iOS version mines came with is 11.4.1. It doesn’t have built-in calculator like iPods and iPhones so they’d have to be downloaded that mostly includes ads if it’s free. Apps for the iPad are typical for Apple.

- Answer The new iPad Pro (whether it's the newest iPad Pro or the one that came out 2017-2018) has a built in transfer. Just place them side by side and follow the onscreen prompts. It moved all my apps and most of the data over to my new iPad Pro (2017-18 model). There is no guarantee it will move 100% of everything over but mine did most of it very efficiently. I had over 1700 photos on my old iPad and it only moved a little over 200 HOWEVER when I hooked up my new iPad to my computer and synced it the computer then transferred the rest of my photos over to the new iPad. It's a lot easier now than it used to be.

- Answer If you want AT&T cellular on your iPad, then you need to purchase one that receives AT&T’s cellular network. A Wi-Fi only iPad will not receive any cellular networks. It does not have the necessary hardware inside it to receive these networks.

- Answer Yes, this is the older model and they’re also selling the 12.9’. The 11’ and 12.9’ only uses type-c charger and facial recognition for security that’s why I didn’t get it.

- Answer Hello. If you mean face recognition (FaceID), then, this is not an option for this iPad. This model (2017) version, uses TouchID.

- Answer Yes, it came with iOS 11, and immediately after I set it up, it asked if I’d like to upgrade to the most current version of iOS. I okey’d the upgrade and it completed the entire upgrade process in just a few minutes. Amazingly fast.
