1. No. But don't worry about it. 2. If you have a question, Google-it. 3. Apple has a 500 page manual on their website that you may download for free. 4. It's virtually the same as an iPhone, but bigger. 5. Apple provides a small page of tips that help you start.

This iPad basically functions as the old ones; power button, volume buttons.. It will all be self explanatory once you see it! To turn on and off just hold the power button.
