absolutely. I use mine for nursing school more than I do my macbook air.

Yes it is great for school, great light weight and portable especially with the keyboard case to make it easy to take notes or use the apple pencil to jot side notes on PDF's.

Yes I would, along with the notability app. However, it would be more beneficial if you get the pencil as well.
