Is the output 5v at 1.0 amp? null

that is 5W, this new Apple-20W is 5V x 3A or 9V x 2.22A. Always use Apple cables with Apple Power Adapters because new PD Adaptive designed into charging specs when connected to Apple appliances for best results! Old vs. New. USB-A is going by the wayside, USB-C is it's replacement!

It’s higher but will not harm your smaller Apple devices .
