“I want to buy an iPad for my mother whose 92 so she can FaceTime. Spectrum is her landline Carrier in an assisted living facility. She has WiFi . Simplist iPad or device is best since she’s challenged when it comes to electronics. What do you suggest”

I just bought the iPad 5 mini a few weeks ago and am super happy with it! Perfect size and definitely great for FaceTiming. As long as WiFi is good, you don’t need the data-connected plan. I got the WiFi only model and got a Speck case also from Best Buy that protects it and props it up too which is really helpful.

I like the mini iPad because it is very simple to use. I am 71 and not that smart when it comes to electronics but I find the mini iPad is lite weight and very easy to follow.
