How do you turn on the noise cancellation? null

Hold the side of the airpod as if you were going to pause your music and it will make a chime putting you in noise cancelling mode. or you can swipe down for the control center while they are in and hold down on the volume level and there will be a circle that says listening mode which will let you cycle between the different listening modes.

Scroll down on the top of your screen and you’ll see the volume slide bar. Hold that, and you can choose noise cancellation. Or, on your right air pod, as long as both pods are in your ears, you can hold the AirPod for like 3 seconds while in your ear and it’ll do noise cancellation
