“I just purchased this computer for my son. He put on and seems to be running really slow. We have other computers and have a good internet connection. Seeing it's brand new .. why does it run slow? Any suggestions ?”

I bought a refurbished one recently, I bought it for studio and recording purpose not for any other heavy use. If you have total tech from best buy contact them and the experts will check and fix the issue for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most opeople who buy these older type iMacs put in a frontal SSD drive. Which of course forces the removal of the screen. Also the usually supplied 8GB of memory is never enough and a minimum of 16GB is required to substantially increasing the booting of the iMac. Otherwise and for the price its fabulous machine.
