My refurbished pair was $30 less than new so maybe something has changed there, but I would not buy refurb again. My microphones quit working and while I found that a lot of people are having this problem with airpods in general, the fact that mine are refurbished will probably be an issue with any warranties. Overall I wouldn't buy the Apple airpod again, refurbished or otherwise.
