• I don't think this I pad has any cellular service I have worked fine in my house. When I travel hotels have wi Fi. It is an unnecessary expense. I cut it out on my.fist I pad and.never looked back. And saved 35 or 40 dollars a month

• The ipad is not a phone, but if you buy one which can insert a sim card, you can have cellular data and just download software to make calls or use FaceTime, which is already included.
