To be sure your question is answered, you'd really have to contact Best Buy. IMHO you'd have to buy from Apple if you want any hope of international warranty as Apple is many countries. I think Best Buy is USA-based? (far as I can tell). Apple advertises a lower price than Best Buy IF you have a good trade-in. Good luck.
