Verizon would see if the device is still eligible to be traded in with that type of damage, you would be trading in a device that would be eligible for the new iPhone promotions, and that can earn you up to $820. That is however dependent on your plan and the level of damage to the device, and if Verizon is running the promotion that was released close to the launch of iPhone 15 when you upgrade.
