“Since the iPod Touch only uses WiFi and not Data, how does using Siri with it work? On my iPhone Siri only works in the car when I am using Data. Can you not use Siri while driving with the iPod Touch because it does not have Data available?”

Siri needs some kind of internet connection to work. So, if you were in the car on an iPod, and not near a wifi signal then Siri would not work.
