You can actually perform decent video editing on this machine if you are using iMovie and even Final Cut Pro. However, you are going to experience the pain of having a deficient processor by seeing how long it takes to render 4k video in the Pro best settings and when you are scrubbing through 4k video components, which will lag and appear choppy as heck. But yes, you can edit video, just not very efficiently. You will probably end up driving yourself crazy. You are better off investing in a lower end 21" iMac for video editing.
