• A:Answer It comes with Apple’s office suite which is compatible (not sure HOW compatible, but certainly for normal use), but otherwise you’d need to buy or subscribe to Microsoft office separately, or use the online version, or use Libreoffice or something.

• A:Answer Nope, you’ll want to get the amount you want when you buy it, as it can’t be upgraded later. At least that lets it have more memory bandwidth!

• A:Answer Yep. All Apple’s chips do. The m5 has more of that performance than before because it’s got the separate engine plus the GPU does that kind of work too now.

• A:Answer You can from Apple’s website to some extent, though then you miss out on sales Best Buy runs. I’m not sure if Apple lets you configure the m5 with 32GB and 512GB storage though, since 512GB is the base amount now.
