• It has a more powerful processor (2.4 ghz vs 1.4) and 4 thunderbolt 3 usb c Ports instead of 2. Turbo boost brings the processor speeds to nearly identical standards so now that the lower end models have a Touch Bar, the only difference that would be noticeable to the average person is the amount of ports

• I bought the "slower" 1.4 i5 quad core model and it is plenty fast enough. You will also get better battery life than the 2.4 model.

• only difference is this model has 1,4 GHz quadcore chip and that one has 2.4Ghz quadcore chip. don't go with such low frequency, this is a good model with good performance for everyday usage.
