“Will the macbook pro go on sale again? I wanted to know if the macbook will go on sale again during Christmas week or after Christmas week. I was supposed to purchase it when it was on sale for $899 but didn't and now its $1,099. Does anyone know if the price will drop soon for the holidays? And if it will be on sale in the best buy stores in hawaii too. I need answers ASAP. THANK YOU.”

• I was told when I bought this computer that the reason they had put this specific model on sale was because it was an older model and they weren't selling it anymore. So I doubt this model will even be in the stores anymore. I happened to get lucky and bought the last one in my local store because as you can imagine they sold out pretty fast. Good luck.

• I got mine for $949.00 recently. Watch your Best Buy emails for deals. A few bucks more, but you are picking it up at a real store with support close at hand.

• Yes, they have dropped this price 4 times since I purchased it on black friday. I suspect it will be Christmas or the day after when it drops. I would recommend checking the site daily as they have 4 hour flash sales as well.

• It has a good chance it will go on sale again as per macrumors.com, hopefully during christmas if they still have a stockpile of them. This model was discontinued by apple.
