You just need Bluetooth
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No software needed to install. Just plug in the USB end of the lightening charger (comes with the mouse) to a USB port on your iMac, connect the lightening end of the charger to your mouse and Apple does the rest. It’s plug and play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Magic Mouse 2 is bluetooth. You don't need any additional software. In System Preferences, go to Bluetooth and make sure bluetooth is turned on. There should be an option to discover device(s). It should find the mouse, click OK and you should be all set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently purchased the same mouse and it runs on my Apple Air and it required no software to make it work. The Air identified the mouse as soon as I turned it on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as you have the cable that comes with the mouse you should be able to install into new machine. this is the same cable that charges the inner battery, so you should be all set. Plug it in, making sure to turn the mouse on, and it should be recognized. Hope this helps.
