• Your computer should have come with a slightly thick charging cable and a charging brick. The cable is slightly thick. I am assuming that is what you are talking about. Apple does make the extended cables as well but you have to buy those separately.

• You charge the mouse with the long cable. It plugs into a phone charger, ipad charger or your Mac depending on the version.

• The large cord is actually the power cable. Under your bluetooth you will see how much battery life you have remaining. Use the cord to charge your mouse.
