Should be. It is Bluetooth, so as long as you have Bluetooth on the Mac Book, it should work.

According to the box for this Apple Magic Mouse 2, it requires "a Bluetooth enabled MAC with OS X v10.11 or later. It is rechargeable and includes charger cable". Hope that helps you.
