• No, the MagSafe chargers are standard Qi-certified chargers with a magnet. The MagSafe Charger can charge any iPhone since the iPhone 8. iPhones 12 and 13 have magnets built into them so that the MagSafe Chargers will form a magnetic bond and not fall off the back of an iPhone 12 or 13.
