Does this work with the 8th generation iPad? null

It only works with the new Air, Pro, and Mini

the easiest way to find out which version of the ApplePencil will work with your iPad, is how it’s charged. If it’s a lightening charger: 1st generation ApplePencil If it’s a USB-C charger: 2nd generation ApplePencil will work.

I have the newer iPad Pro and it works great
