Hold down the mouse button on startup- this will usually eject CD/DVD in any attached CD/DVD drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Restart your Apple computer with a corded mouse plugged in. Upon start up, hold down all the mouse buttons. It's a built in force eject. If the disc doesn't come out, you have a physical jam of some ilk and you'll need professional help.

As a refresher, here are the instructions directly from Apple on operating the Apple Super Drive: Choose Software Update from the Apple menu () to update your system software to the latest version. Attach the Apple USB SuperDrive to a USB port on your computer. Do one of the following to eject a DVD or CD: *Select the DVD or CD, and choose File > Eject from the menu bar. *Click Eject (C) next to the DVD or CD name in the sidebar of a Finder window. *Drag the DVD or CD to the Trash icon in the Dock. *Press the Media Eject key (C) on the keyboard (if your keyboard has one). You can eject a DVD or CD only when the drive is connected to your computer If this doesn't help, and the CD is still stuck in your unit, you may have to take it into a Best Buy store for a Geek Squad Tech to look at. Either that or call Apple directly and see what they might recommend. Since it is brand new, the Geek Squad guys would probably give the unit a "look-see" for you. Good luck - hope you can get the problem resolved!
