“I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and still use a mouse...Will this work? (The connecting port to the mouse is smaller than the one on the computer but the illustration of the cord on the website looks equal at both ends)...Thanks!”

Unless your mouse has a female USB-C to receive a male USB-C. Otherwise, it probably won't fit.
