• I have an old 1st hen Apple TV in the spare bedroom that is still going strong & don’t have any disconnect issues. I recently moved & the Apple TV was packed away for four months. No issues setting it up in the new location either; with Xfinity Wifi. It was seamless reconnect in a new State; new WiFi account. Remote still works too. Maybe your wire/cable is loose or it’s a bad Apple (hehe) device. Sure I’d love an upgrade to 4K but as long as this keeps working (even mirroring works I’m a happy camper. . Good luck.

• Probably needs to be replaced at the same frequency that you replace your iPhone
