• Yes, absolutely. You will be able to access a vast array of streaming services and Apps including Apple’s competitors. More importantly with an Apple TV the chip is faster, the memory is ample and you will be able to access regular updates. With a smart tv you would be limited in speed, fixed on lower memory and not able to update your OS. Even with a smart tv you would benefit from an Apple TV or other streaming device. Just make sure your TV has an HDMI input port and you should be fine.
