You “should” be able to. The reason I say “should” is because this is kind of a personal preference. My wife has a 44mm watch and her wrist is about 6”. She feels the 40mm would be too small for viewing whatever is displayed on the watch’s face. Might I suggest, dropping by your local BB store and put each watch on your wrist. There isn’t a great deal of difference between the 40mm and 44mm, IMO. It may boil down to what you feel is best for viewing what’s displayed on the watch’s face.
