“My doorbell is wired into an intercom system. It does not have a separate chime box. Will the Arlo Video Doorbell work with that? Also, removing my doorbell will leave a 4x6 open box. Is there a faceplate that will cover this hole for mounting Arlo?”

The doorbell can work without a chime, it will only video call your cellular phone instead when the button is pressed. As for a plate cover, this can be found at a local hardware store for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same thing. I tried the Arlo and didn’t work for me because you need a chime box.I ended up with the Ring pro, works great and you can use Echo shows as chimes and two way video/audio thru echo shows.
