• It doesn’t connect to your Arlo base. It connects directly to your main WiFi, and you can add it into your already existing App. Just follow the prompts after selecting add device. You will see an option for the video doorbell, chime doorbell, etc. Pretty easy to set up. I will warn you though, I was not able to get my existing chime to work right with it. For me it wasn’t a huge deal because I have dogs that hate our doorbell ringing and the Video doorbell calls your phone anyways. But just know you may have to call tech support if you run into the same issue.

• You set it up in your existing arlo app however, it doesn’t connect to the base station since this doesn’t not require any other arlo products to use. It connects directly to your network.
