A:AnswerWe did not have the bandwidth needed to deploy system. This is a BIG issue! Am working on this with changing carriers to Xfinity, and new install date of 7/7/2020
A:AnswerSue,
According to the Arlo Ultra User Manual:
Your SmartHub accepts SDHC or SDXC microSD cards. We recommend using microSD cards with a minimum of 16 GB capacity, Speed Class 10, UHS-!, V10. Your Arlo SmartHub supports up to Class 10, UHS-3, V90.
I hope this helps.
A:AnswerNope. They give you the Arlo Smart Premier for 1-year which is 2k resolution. They don't give you the Arlo Smart Elite which is 4k resolution and should be the appropriate trial because this camera in theory can record 4k. I say in theory because I actually purchased this system 2 weeks ago (just returned it to BestBuy) and found out that it only recorded 1080p videos and the stored videos on the Arlo Smart Premier were also 1080p resolution.
A:AnswerFor security, only one device can access an Arlo account at a time. To allow multiple devices view the cameras at the same time, we recommend utilizing the "Grant Access" feature detailed here : https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/. ^RM
A:AnswerThe included Arlo Smart trial includes playback of videos in 4K. More information on what is included is detailed here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062162/
A:AnswerAll Arlo cameras require a high-speed Internet connection and requires at least 3 Mbps upload per camera. We want to mention that there are three ways in which your Arlo Ultra camera may be powered : (1.) Rechargeable battery (included) (2.) Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable (sold separately) and (3.) Solar Panel Charger (sold separately). You can view your Arlo cameras via the Arlo app. The expected battery life for Arlo Ultra cameras is approximately 3-6 months with average use as detailed here: https://kb.arlo.com/1202753. A:AnswerMy experience is distance depends on line-of-sight. If there are walls or other solid obstruction between the base station and the camera the distance is significantly less that the user manual indicates. There is a strength of signal reading in the "camera positioning" option in the Arlo App Device Utilities section that will tell you if your placement will have a good signal from the base station.
