QuestionI just ordered a 4-camera Ultra kit. The cameras come with 4 magnetic mounts. Can these mounts be used outside as well as inside? The User Manual seems to suggest that the magnetic mounts are for indoor use and you need a screw mount outside.

- Answer For security, only one device can access an Arlo account at a time. To allow multiple devices view the cameras at the same time, we recommend utilizing the "Grant Access" feature detailed here : https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/. ^RM

QuestionI don't have WiFi, does it record from each camera on to a hard drive? Also can you plug in the cameras instead of the battery? Is there a screen so you can watch the 4 cameras in real time? How long do the batteries last in the winter? Thanks

- Answer All Arlo cameras require a high-speed Internet connection and requires at least 3 Mbps upload per camera. We want to mention that there are three ways in which your Arlo Ultra camera may be powered : (1.) Rechargeable battery (included) (2.) Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable (sold separately) and (3.) Solar Panel Charger (sold separately). You can view your Arlo cameras via the Arlo app. The expected battery life for Arlo Ultra cameras is approximately 3-6 months with average use as detailed here: https://kb.arlo.com/1202753. - Answer My experience is distance depends on line-of-sight. If there are walls or other solid obstruction between the base station and the camera the distance is significantly less that the user manual indicates. There is a strength of signal reading in the "camera positioning" option in the Arlo App Device Utilities section that will tell you if your placement will have a good signal from the base station.

- Answer My ARLO ULTRA hub can manage 5 cameras. But there are different packages that can augment the total of cameras. Need to check on the ARLO site for their packages.
