Those are batteries. You get 4 batteries (one for each camera plus a backup to keep charged). Yes you screw in the mounts.

Three cameras but it comes with four batteries. In the photo your seeing two batteries in the charger and two extra batteries. The mounts have to be screwed in.

You do need to screw in the mounts.
