Yes, I’ve had to return mine as not fit for purpose. I brought mine on 4/29/19. I’ve left a review on the BestBuys site explaining the negatives, rather than repeating here.

Image quality is good (HD) via the library (images stored on their server) However, if you add the micro SD card to the base unit, it stores in 4k. You have to be on the same WIFI as the base and you can download great video. We have had no issues and are really happy with the unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With all of the constant firmware and software updates, I can safely say that this systems stability has improved 10 fold. It is now a stable system and I LOVE IT! Arlo is, in my opinion worth the price, you get what you pay for!

If I had one thing they could work on maybe is the connection time from app start up to when you see the live footage by even that is the best out there right now!
