Will this modem work on the charter cable network? null

Yes, it should. I have Time Warner Cable who got bought out by Charter so should be no difference. I think it has it written either in the specs or on the bottom of the box that it is compatible.

I used mine on the Time Warner cable system.

I would assume it will work with Charter - I have Time Warner Cable and they are about to join up with TMC here in a few months, As my Best Buy salesman said -" it it doesn't work bring it back"..

Charter is a Cable ISP. It is completely compatible.

As of the current supported list for Charter, this should work. http://www.charter.net/support/internet/compliant-modems-charter-network/

It is used for cable connections. The box usually tells you for what companies it works for. Sorry I don't have access to my box right now.
