“Can the headset be used on a simple pc without downloading any software?”

• Yes the headset and mixamp can be used without software but as the software is not intrusive and offers more customization I would recommend the download! Just make sure the switch on the back of the mixamp is switched to the “PC” position

• Yes, just plug them in and your all set, but it’s better to download the software
