• It should. The bundled software is microsoft windows only, however. Drive works with my 2017 iMac.

• I have a MacBook pro 2019 version and the drive does not work with the USB-C cable I had the USB-A connected into an older USB-A hub, then converted into the USB-C port. It worked ok, but not great. The best solution I found is to purchase a docking station that uses 2 USB-C ports, such as MacBook Pro Docking Station, Lyare USB C Docking Station with Dual USB C 4K HDMI Hub, USB3.0 / 2.0, Type C, VGA, Ethernet, SD TF Card Reader Port, MacBook Air Docking Station, Thunderbolt Dock I'm using the USB-A cable connected into the docking station and the dvd drive works flawlessly. Better solution than using Apple Super Drive, which is also a USB-A connection.
