It is sad to see only 60Hz as Asus has better panels that support up to 120hz at the same resolution or even better. they do say that it has g-sync in the documentation on their website but they make no mention that I've seen on VRR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the internal screen of the PX13 does not support any form of VRR. I've checked this in Windows Settings and AMD Software. The panel does not support either FreeSync or G-Sync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have updated the laptop fully and there is no option to turn of gsync. at least with the connected display. Im assuming the yes is for external displays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this laptop supports G-Sync and VRR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Note that only the HDMI connects to the RTX 4050. Thus your monitor and cable would have to support the g-sync over HDMI. The RTX 4050 supposedly doesn't support g-sync over HDMI-2. And the usb-c ports connect only directly to the integrated AMD graphics. Thus, you cannot connect a usb-c to DisplayPort adapter for g-sync. So, it appears that while Asus says the laptop supports g-sync, but there is no real way to connect and use it. The Asus poster here needs to provide details on connections to prove otherwise.
