This happened to me but the error code was 0x0003. You can find solution on google for the 0x0001 but i remember it is close to what I did. I managed to fix mine by uninstalling all nvidia software on control panel and reinstalling GeForce experience. This basically reinstalls everything you uninstalled. Updating does not work so you have to remove all first. This error happens because of Windows auto update making compatibility with the gpu fail because it has old drivers.
