A:AnswerThere are several reasons, first when you have it unplugged turbo and manual mode are disabled to save battery, also you could always uninstall armoury crate and then download it from the ASUS website. Also for brightness you dont use CTRL you use FN so it would be FN +f7/f8.
A:Answernot very long at all no gaming laptop can game very long on battery, I would say you could game on this on battery for 1-2 hours depending on what game.
A:AnswerNope, no num pad. It's not large enough to have one. My son (a college student majoring in cinema production) says he's really happy with this laptop though. It can run his film editing software even when it's not plugged in (apparently his previous laptop could not do that).
A:AnswerYep this laptop runs Fusion 360 and SoldWorks quite nicely as well as 3D scanning software so MasterCam and things like Revit and AutoCad will not be a problem. There are two memory sticks (8Gb) in this laptop. You can not really upgrade the memory though, as the first stick is soldered in and you don't want to run non-symmetrically.
A:AnswerYes you can! So I have a pair of RIG gaming headphones (doesn’t matter which ones you use tbh..) and I tried it out and it works great! The audio is absolutely amazing. I’ll provide pictures to show you. I also saw another one of your questions regarding if the laptop has Windows 10 and it does.
A:AnswerYes. It'll charge off of 100W USB-C. I travel a lot so that is often my setup, and I run all of my games just fine, even if the framerates aren't *as* high.
A:AnswerIt depends on your usage, it should go from 2 hours (intensive stuff like gaming on AAA titles) to 14 hours (basically doing nothing with the screen on the lowest brightness).
Overall the battery life is great, I tend to get around 6 hours.
