• I can't compare it to the 3050ti, but I can tell you this is a very quiet laptop. It doesn't get terribly hot on the lap while surfing, watching videos or during the short stint of gaming I did.

• It depends on your profile setting. Silent will kill the fans but slow performance. Performance mode will ramp up the fans but I've had zero issue hearing the game over the fans. And if you wear headphones you won't hear the fans at all.
